The business

HEMA Beverages bottles packaged drinking water in Kampala, Uganda, and distributes it across Sub-Saharan Africa. It is part of HEMA Group.

What we built

• A home page that walks the production line stage by stage, from moulding and filling to capping, testing and dispatch
• The water range in its five pack formats, and a brands page covering the company’s product lines
• A markets page built around a drawn map of Africa
• A group page with the parent group and its board
• A contact page with a route for prospective distributors

How it works

The home page is paced by the scroll: each stage of the line takes the screen in turn, so a visitor sees how the water is made, tested and shipped before reaching the range. Product, brand and market details sit in one content file that every page reads from, so a change is made once. Distributors have a direct route to the company from the header on every page.
