A group site that maps a family business across five sectors and two continents, in build

The business

HEMA Group is a family business group that began in industrial trades in southern India and now runs companies in beverages, agribusiness, industrial manufacturing, real estate and sustainability across India and Africa.

What we built

• A home page that moves from the group’s story to its five sectors and its history, decade by decade
• A businesses section with a page for each company and each sector
• A presence section with a page per country
• A leadership section with a profile page for each director
• Our story, community and contact pages

How it works

Each company, sector, country and director is one structured entry, and its page and the links between pages are generated from those entries rather than written by hand. That keeps a group with many moving parts consistent: a company’s sector, countries and story are stated once and read the same everywhere. The motion follows the reader’s scroll, so the long history moves at their pace.
