The business

Svarga is not a client. It is a residential tower we invented for Bengaluru, so we could build a property site with no brief to hold it back and see where the ceiling is.

What we built

  • A hero where the tower rises through the sky and the name becomes a mask the building shows through
  • Headlines that fill with colour word by word as the reader scrolls
  • An ascent section that climbs the tower floor by floor, from the arrival lobby to the observatory
  • A residences strip and closing sections for living, investing and visiting
  • Separate motion for phones and desktops, with smooth scrolling tuned to both

How it works

Every effect is tied to the scroll position rather than a timer, so it plays forwards and backwards at the reader’s pace and stops when they stop. Phones get their own versions of the pinned sections rather than a squeezed desktop layout. Parts of this concept now carry into client builds, which is what it was made for.

Status

Studio concept.
